Melba at The Savoy is a diminutive gourmet coffee shop on The Strand serving fine coffee, gourmet sandwiches and pastries to the discerning take out customer. Traditionally influenced fittings are balanced with more contemporary touches. Central to the shop is a curved chilled display. The joinery is traditionally detailed in black lacquered oak, including an impressive dresser, with counters in White Carrara marble. Flooring is a black and white marble diamond with a curved scalloped feature. Original plaster mouldings have been exposed highlighting a striking translucent green Murano glass chandelier.
